About Me
About Me
I am a second year Ph.D. student in T&O at the Ross School of Business (University of Michigan) where I am advised by Izak Duenyas and Roman Kapuscinski. I am also pursuing an M.S. in Statistics. Previously, I earned a Ph.D. in Transportation Systems Engineering, and an M.Sc. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, and dual B.Sc. degrees in Mathematics and Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
My research focuses on developing dynamic policies, inspection mechanisms, and experimentation frameworks in strategic and uncertain environments. I integrate techniques from online decision-making, statistical inference, and operations research—drawing on tools such as stochastic systems analysis, approximation algorithms, online learning, and large deviation theory. My work also extends to applications in online decision-making, the sharing economy, and automated transportation systems, where I have published several studies. My work has been recognized with honors such as IBM best student paper award finalist (2024) and the Rackham Predoctoral Fellowship (2022).
Residency
I hold U.S. permanent residency (Green Card).
